Where does the name BULLANGA come from?
To boil the pot, to make xup-xup, just as we like to cook, honoring many of the meals that
we will offer you, with a good assortment of fork breakfasts and spoon lunches.
Of the Bullangues of the 19th century, popular revolts that took place mainly in Barcelona, in full swing
effervescence of Barcelona's sisos inns, a historical period that we are passionate about, that we will share and
from which we will recover the best morsels.
From the Bullanguera, the song with which Mallorcan popular ballads usually end, because we have them
roots between the Mallorcan sea and the Pre-Pyrenees and a close link with popular culture, which also us
we will do our best to promote.
This is where the name Bullanga comes from, a project driven by many years of experience in the sector
Roger's restoration, of his passion for popular cuisine and its history, but also for everything
that surrounds him A project that has ended up being familiar, full of illusions and challenges, to offer the people of the
neighborhood, from Barcelona and from everywhere, the warmth, the good teak, the joy and the passions that we share in our house. All
well stirred and concentrated in a small Barcelona inn of the 21st century.

You will find us at Carrer Diputació 437, in the Fort Pienc neighborhood of Barcelona, in a historic restaurant of the
neighborhood (old Novecento) that we have redone and adapted to the new project.


What you will find there
Cuisine, history, popular culture. Mainly, traditional Catalan cuisine, dishes from Barcelona and one
with a special focus on cuisine and products of Pyrenean and Mallorcan origin, with grandma's touch
Jordina and godmother Margalida. And many more foods.
In addition, between bites, you can soak up the history of the inns, curiosities
Barcelona people and popular customs.
